We are able to carry out electrical installation condition reports on either your domestic property or place of work.
At MTM Electrical all of our electricians are City & Guild qualified, competent and regularly assessed. We also work to the ‘landlords and electrical inspectors guidance for the private rented sector’ as laid out by Napit, our government approved accreditation service.
These reports are currently a legal requirement on all rental properties in the UK; and as a result of this we have carried out several hundred in the local area since the legislation has been enforced. We have worked in partnership with several of the largest estate agents and local property developers to bring their rental properties up to standard and legally certificate their properties for the rental market.
During an Inspection and Test of your property an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is carried out. We will check the installation against the British Standard (BS7671) for wiring regulations and a Napit report is compiled. This report will be submitted to you as a pass or fail that will detail any issues that may need to be addressed and what regulation the particular issue is in relation to.
